The Y-Not by RJM Music Technology is a MIDI-enabled A/B/Y switch designed to route a single audio signal to two outputs. This pedal allows you to easily toggle between two amplifiers—such as a clean and a distorted amp—or switch between inputs on a dual-input amplifier.
Musically, the Y-Not ensures a clean and transparent signal transfer, avoiding the issues often found with standard A/B boxes. The version 2.0 introduces programmable phase inversion on the B output, enabling you to run dual-channel switching amplifiers and adjust the phase in real time for optimal sound.
Additionally, the new "TRS In" switch allows for compatibility with piezo-equipped guitars, sending the tip to the A output and the ring to the B output. This feature facilitates automated switching between magnetic and piezo signals, offering flexibility in your rig setup.
