The Warm Audio WA-DI-P is a passive direct box engineered to transform high-impedance unbalanced signals into low-impedance balanced signals without requiring external power. It utilizes a custom-wound USA-made CineMag transformer, ensuring a warm, analog tone while maintaining signal clarity. Musically, the WA-DI-P excels in various settings, providing a smooth and transparent sound that is ideal for both studio recordings and live performances. The variable pad knob allows for input signal attenuation ranging from -3dB to -30dB, facilitating precise gain staging. Additional features include a phase reverse switch and a ground lift to help reduce interference and hum, all housed in a durable aluminum chassis.
