Varicomp

The Varicomp by EFX Custom Effects is a valve compressor designed for studio recordings, utilizing a high-voltage dual triode valve to achieve its compression effect. This pedal adjusts the valve gain in response to the input signal, delivering the warm, vintage qualities associated with traditional valve compressors. Musically, the Varicomp enhances the dynamics of your sound while providing a smooth compression that retains the character of your recordings. It includes a female XLR input and a male XLR output, allowing for balanced signal operation. Additionally, the built-in V.U. meter gives you visual feedback on the compression levels, making it easier to fine-tune your adjustments. The Varicomp can also function as a valve preamp when compression is disengaged.
