Troy van Leeuwen “TVL” Raven Filter and Boost

The Dr. No TVL Raven is a versatile filter and booster pedal designed in collaboration with Troy van Leeuwen. This pedal features a filter section with a “Raven Skull” knob that selects between three capacitor-based frequency ranges, along with a “Q” control for adjusting resonance. The booster section provides a volume boost that allows for clean gain enhancement. The Raven can be used in isolation or combined with the booster, making it suitable for various musical contexts. Its handmade design includes unique visual elements representative of the TVL series, and it pairs well with the TVL Octavia, contributing to a cohesive tonal approach. Both pedals were utilized in the production of QOTSA’s Villains album and tour.
