This pedal takes inspiration from a legendary rodent-style pedal, combining elements of both early big box and whiteface versions. It’s meticulously crafted to deliver a consistent tone that captures the essence of vintage sound, featuring creamy mids, a punchy attack, and that recognizable 'sag' when pushed to high gain. At its core, the Tremond is powered by the renowned LM308n integrated circuit. It also boasts a clipping mode switch, allowing you to swap out the standard silicon diodes (for that classic, high-gain sound) with an asymmetrical LED and germanium combination, providing a crunchy, 'clear breakup' effect that's perfect for lower gain settings or an extra boost at higher gain. Alternatively, you can bypass the clipping diodes altogether for an immense wave of pure op-amp distortion.
