The Tree Of Life by Vick Audio is an overdrive pedal that blends elements from two popular designs. At lower gain settings, it delivers dynamic, touch-sensitive tones reminiscent of the Zen, suitable for a wide range of musical styles.
As you increase the gain, the pedal transitions to a thicker, responsive overdrive akin to the characteristics of the OCD. The use of mosfet semiconductors and Bat41 diodes in the clipping circuit ensures harmonically rich overtones, providing a consistent tonal quality across the gain range.
