TightMetal Jr

The Bass TightMetal Jr is the bass-oriented version of Amptweaker's acclaimed TightMetal Jr, featuring a Dry Low MOD knob on the side. This blend allows for the infusion of clean low-end into the sound, preserving the depth without introducing any bizarre phase-shifted artifacts to the distorted highs. Drawing from the Pro series, the Tight control and Fat switches have been revamped into a 3-position Fat/Normal/Tight switch, enabling you to shape the attack of your notes from thick and heavy to aggressive and punchy. Additionally, an EQ switch offers Thrash/Normal/Smooth tone options, allowing the pedal to adapt to a wide range of contexts and setups. Alongside Gain, Tone, and Volume knobs, there’s a manually adjustable Noise Gate that can be set to cut off notes sharply. The beauty of the built-in noise gate is that it disengages when the pedal is turned off, ensuring your clean tone remains intact! The Tight switch and Tone control have been fine-tuned for lower frequencies, making them ideal for bass or lower-tuned guitars like 7 or 8-string models.
