TightFuzz Pro

The TightFuzz Pro features a Germanium/Silicon switch, a 3-band EQ, 3 FX loops, and a dual boost with an Octave-up effect. As part of the Amptweaker Pro series, this pedal is derived from the well-loved TightFuzz distortion pedal. Its 3-band EQ makes it incredibly versatile, while Amptweaker's Tight control significantly enhances the fuzz attack. The auto-bias function integrated into the Fuzz control enables you to transition smoothly from pristine tones to gritty distortions with a single knob. A key distinction between the TightFuzz Pro and many typical 'reissue' fuzz pedals is the Tight control positioned before the fuzz circuit, which effectively buffers the input. Many fuzz designs struggle with low output impedances that can disrupt the bias and gain structure, leading to unwanted sounds or feedback issues. The TightFuzz Pro's buffering mimics a guitar's impedance, ensuring that the fuzz circuit operates as intended, allowing for low impedance circuits to be used in the loop or in front of the pedal. Known for their effective loops, Amptweaker pedals include 3 FX loops here: a universal loop, an active one with boost, and the popular SideTrak loop that activates when the pedal is OFF, functioning like a built-in A/B box.
