This allows for easy adjustments to both gain and volume, ensuring you achieve the ideal solo sound. Additionally, a Midboost button complements the output Boost knob, facilitating solos that stand out in the mix. The pedal also includes a Smooth Edge switch, which reduces high-end sizzle for a warmer sound or enhances clarity when disengaged, depending on your preference. With a versatile three-band EQ and a PlexEQ button for a more classic stack tone, tonal variety is abundant. The TightDrive Pro also introduces a newly developed 'cleaner' noise gate designed to minimize unwanted noise while preserving the clarity of your clean tones. Known for their effects loops, Amptweaker pedals offer three in this model: a universal loop, an active loop with the boost, and the popular SideTrak loop, which activates when the pedal is turned OFF, functioning like an integrated A/B box.
