Tibetan Quaalude

The Blue Colander Tibetan Quaalude is a meticulously crafted boutique distortion/preamp pedal aimed at emulating the iconic Sunn Model T amplifier sound in a convenient stompbox design. It features a circuit built with premium JFET transistors and a series of gain stages, providing an extensive palette of tones that range from a warm clean boost and gritty overdrive to powerful, amp-like distortion. The pedal is equipped with independent boost controls, dual channels (Normal/Brite), a 3-band interactive EQ (Bass/Mid/Treble), and separate preamp and master volume knobs. Additionally, it includes internal switches for high-gain boost and low-end voicing, allowing it to serve as a self-sufficient drive, preamp, or a pedalboard platform with substantial output levels. Please note that it does not support battery operation and requires a standard 9 V DC power supply.
