The Ringstinger
LovetoneProduct Description
The Lovetone The Ringstinger is an analogue ring modulator and modulation processor, developed in England during the 1990s. It utilizes a balanced modulator circuit and features an internal oscillator, allowing for classic ring modulation sounds.
Musically, The Ringstinger produces a wide range of tones, from metallic and bell-like effects to tremolo and sideband textures, as well as more experimental sounds. An envelope follower adds a dynamic element, enabling touch-sensitive modulation for expressive performances.
The pedal includes controls for carrier frequency, modulation depth, and the balance between dry and affected signals. Its large enclosure features multiple footswitches for selecting modulation modes and activating additional functions.
