Tarkin Fuzz

The Tarkin mk2 by Cog Effects is a compact fuzz pedal designed for both guitar and bass, housed in a space-efficient 1590A enclosure. This pedal builds upon the classic Green Russian design, delivering a smooth fuzz tone while offering a range of versatile sounds. Musically, the Tarkin mk2 produces everything from deep, rumbling fuzz to bright, cutting tones. Increasing the Fuzz knob enhances sustain and distortion, while the Tone knob provides a wide sweep from warm low frequencies to sharp high-end fizz. The included LPF and HPF switches let you tailor the mid-range frequencies, making it easier to cut through in a live setting. The internal switches allow for two clipping stages, offering a choice between smoother or more aggressive clipping characteristics, with the option to bypass diodes for additional tonal variation. This pedal is a versatile addition for any pedalboard.
