The Electronic Audio Experiments Surveyor is a compact drive pedal that draws inspiration from the Intersound IVP (Instrument Voicing Preamp), well-regarded for its role in defining noise rock sounds. Originally part of the Dude Incredible pedal, the Surveyor is now available as a standalone unit, offering an accessible option for musicians. This pedal is recognized for its bright and clangy tone, particularly when the treble is elevated, making it ideal for use with aluminum guitars and full-range speakers. Beyond its signature sound, the Surveyor features a 2-band active EQ and specialized "Tube Voice" clipping circuitry, allowing for a variety of saturated tones that can suit multiple musical styles.
