The Subsonic Analog Octaver is a modern take on the legendary OC-2. It retains the original circuit and components while enhancing the design by eliminating the active bypass circuitry. The former passive mixer has been upgraded to an active mixer, enabling output signals to exceed unity gain. Additionally, the Subsonic supports higher input voltages (up to 18V), providing increased headroom for stronger signals. While it stays true to the classic OC-2 sound, the Subsonic incorporates contemporary enhancements that elevate its functionality.
