Stormy Bass Drive

The E.W.S. Stormy Bass Drive is a versatile bass overdrive pedal that offers a range of gain settings, from clean boost to rich crunch and high-gain tones. Its touch-sensitive drive mimics tube characteristics, providing a dynamic response that enhances your bass guitar's natural sound. Musically, the pedal's three EQ modes—Mid Boost, Normal, and Mid Cut—allow for tailored sonic shaping. The Mid Boost enhances frequencies around 750Hz, while the Mid Cut reduces those around 400Hz, giving you flexibility in your tone. Compact yet powerful, the Stormy Bass Drive features three controls (volume, tone, gain) and a mode switch, powered by either a 9VDC supply or a built-in 006P battery. The pedal also includes a DC-DC converter that elevates the input voltage to 16VDC, ensuring robust low-end and clear highs, even at high gain settings.
