Similar to the Germanium Fuzz, the Stonk Box seeks to modernize a timeless 1960s fuzz design while eliminating the flaws and inconsistencies found in the original. This time, we focused on the MK1 fuzz, which is a modified version of the very first fuzz pedal ever created. We've retained the classic FILTER and VOLUME controls but added a TONE control and a TRIM control to broaden your sonic options. It’s designed to work seamlessly with buffers and pedal chains (though we had to adjust the output circuit since there’s no pickup simulation). The original circuit is notoriously challenging to perfect due to tricky transistor selection, but with our patented technology, we can achieve it with ease and consistency—marking a first in the industry!
