The Cosmodio Instruments Splinter Twin is a time modulation workstation pedal that offers a versatile range of effects, including flanger, chorus, vibrato, doubling, slapback, and echo. By cloning the input signal and manipulating it in various ways, the pedal blends these altered sounds with the dry signal to create unique sonic textures. Musically, the Splinter Twin provides a wide array of modulation options, allowing for subtle to extreme effects. It features controls for TIME (0–340 ms delay), MOD SPEED, MOD DEPTH, MOD SHAPE, PREAMP gain, and FEEDBACK, along with a dual footswitch for enhanced performance. The pedal also incorporates user-selectable dry signal routing for through-zero effects and is built with an all-analog preamp, true-bypass relay switching, and top-mounted jacks. Handcrafted in Massachusetts, it requires a 9V DC center-negative power supply with a minimum of 200 mA.
