The Crazy Tube Circuits Splash MkIII is a compact reverb pedal that combines analog and digital technologies, offering studio-quality reverb effects in an accessible format. This pedal features three distinct reverb algorithms that can be tailored through decay and excite controls, allowing for a wide range of sounds. The first algorithm, known as the "exciter," delivers everything from subtle ambience to expansive pad effects at higher settings. The second algorithm provides moderate-sized reverb, emulating spring reverb and transitioning to room and hall effects. The third algorithm focuses on larger reverb settings, encompassing hall and ambient tones. Additionally, a push/pull knob enables a kill dry function, ideal for creating volume swells without adjusting your main volume control.
