Soft Focus Reverb

The Catalinbread Soft Focus is a specialized reverb pedal designed to deliver lush shoegaze textures. It features a modified plate reverb at its core, which is divided into three distinct paths for versatile sound shaping. Musically, the Soft Focus produces rich, immersive ambient sounds. One path incorporates a multi-voiced chorus modulator, another adds an octave-up effect blended with the reverb, while the third path retains the original reverb signal for a cleaner tone. This pedal operates with a standard 9 to 18 volts DC center-negative power supply, requiring at least 100mA. While 9V delivers excellent sound quality, using a higher voltage can enhance output and headroom. Note that the Soft Focus does not support battery operation.
