The Silver Deluxe features a JFET boost combined with a Fender tone stack EQ. The JFET design enhances your signal’s character, while the passive EQ provides the classic response typical of many vintage tube amplifiers.
This EQ is a precise replica of the Fender tone stack, including the Mid controls, and is identical to the Alembic F2B.
The Silver Deluxe is crafted to generate subtle JFET overdrive when driven, which can be accomplished with instrument level signals using a 9V power supply. For a pristine output, using a higher voltage supply is advisable.
