The Sick As Overdrive offers a fresh take on overdrive pedals, drawing inspiration from the Klon Centaur® while incorporating significant enhancements for today’s guitarist. Its gain control is uniquely designed to increase both gain and the ratio of gain-to-clean tone simultaneously. This means that when you dial back the gain, your tone remains clear and defined, avoiding any muddiness. A toggle switch allows you to adjust the headroom and drive character, letting you select between a more compressed, mid-range tone or a transparent, open sound ideal for rhythm playing. Additionally, the pedal features a robust two-band active EQ circuit that can boost or cut bass and treble frequencies by up to 15dB, providing exceptional versatility. Furthermore, the internal voltage is elevated to 18V, enhancing clarity and headroom.
