Shigeharu

The Shigeharu™ by Electronic Audio Experiments is a fuzz pedal that combines classic Muff-inspired fuzz with the clarity and punch of an overdrive. This pedal features a unique hybrid of op-amp and BC184 transistor gain stages, delivering powerful sustain and high gain while maintaining definition in your sound, regardless of its position in the signal chain. Musically, the Shigeharu™ produces a rich, saturated fuzz that cuts through mixes effectively, making it suitable for various musical styles. The pedal also includes a parallel octave-up fuzz option, accessible via the Havoc* stomp, for added tonal versatility. Inside the pedal, you'll find two additional controls: a bias/gate knob for achieving spitty, broken tones, and a slide switch that can lock the octave-up effect or serve as a kill/mute switch.
