The Radial SGI Studio Guitar Interface is a pair of modules, consisting of the SGI-TX transmitter and SGI-RX receiver, designed for sending guitar signals over long distances using balanced cable. It enables a guitar signal to travel up to 300 feet, maintaining audio integrity with unity gain and 100% discrete Class-A circuitry, while transformer isolation minimizes ground loops.
In studio settings, the SGI allows guitarists to perform in the control room, providing clear monitoring through studio speakers. For live situations, it supports off-stage amplifier placement, enhancing sound quality and reliability compared to wireless systems. The SGI-TX requires a standard power supply for operation.
