The Radial SGI Studio Guitar Interface consists of a transmit module (SGI-TX) and a receive module (SGI-RX) designed for sending guitar signals over long distances using balanced cable. This system allows a signal to travel up to 300 feet while maintaining clarity and isolation from ground loops through its discreet Class-A circuitry.
Musically, the SGI enables guitarists to perform in different settings, such as playing in the control room while monitoring studio sound or positioning amplifiers offstage during live performances. The SGI-RX receiver features a female XLR input and a 1/4" output and operates without the need for external power, making it a practical solution for various applications.
