The Malekko Scrutator is a Sample Rate and Bit Reducer pedal designed to provide unique sound manipulation. This pedal allows you to creatively adjust the sample rate and bit depth, resulting in lo-fi textures and distinct sonic character. Musically, the Scrutator excels in producing gritty, digital artifacts and filtered tones that can range from subtle to extreme. It features a switchable two-pole bandpass or lowpass filter, enhancing its versatility. Additionally, you can control the Rate, Bit, Filter, and Q parameters using an expression pedal or control voltage, allowing for real-time expression and dynamic sound shaping.
