The Free The Tone SC-1 Silky Comp is a compressor pedal designed to deliver a natural and smooth sound. Its unique soldering process during PCB assembly contributes to its clear, refined tonal characteristics. Musically, the SC-1 enhances arpeggios with fluid transitions between notes and allows for precise comping that produces tight grooves. The ATTACK control offers flexibility in shaping the effect, enabling a range of response options. When set fully clockwise, the Silky Comp can also function as a limiter, providing additional versatility for dynamic control.
