The Tech 21 SansAmp Classic Reissue is an all-analog preamp pedal for guitar and bass that captures the warm, rich tones reminiscent of classic tube amplifiers. It offers versatility for direct connection to PA systems or bass rigs, making it ideal for both live performances and studio recordings.
Musically, this pedal provides a range of tones through its four primary controls: Presence Drive, Amplifier Drive, Output, and High (tone). The three-position Input switch (Lead, Normal, Bass) allows for different preamp voicings, while the eight Character switches modify harmonic content and dynamics. The integrated analog speaker simulation ensures an authentic representation of preamp, power amp, and speaker characteristics. This limited reissue maintains the essence of the original 1989 design.
