The Tech 21 Roto Choir is a modulation pedal that emulates the sound of rotating speakers, blending the effects of both a lower speaker and a treble rotor horn. This pedal captures the rich, layered tones typically associated with classic rotating speaker setups. Musically, the Roto Choir delivers a complex, immersive sound that enhances your guitar or keyboard tones. The Drive control adds subtle compression, harmonics, and grit, while the Low and High EQ controls shape the overall character of the tube amp emulation. The Fast/Slow footswitch allows for real-time adjustments to the rotation speed, and the Position control lets you adjust the virtual microphone placement for varying intensity. Additional features include a biamped/single-speaker mode switch, stereo output, and a Speaker Sim switch for direct recording.
