The Revolt by Fieldfare Audio is a versatile overdrive pedal that offers a range of tonal options. Designed as a modern take on the classic Tube Screamer, it features an internal 18V system that provides extended headroom for a robust clean boost with enhanced mids. The pedal allows for manipulation of the distortion characteristics through its “Low Push” switch, enabling it to function as an independent overdrive. Musically, the Revolt excels in delivering clean boosts and various overdrive tones. The Open/Compress button lets you toggle between 9V and 18V headroom, allowing for adjustments in clean and distorted sounds. Additionally, the “High Cut” switch can transform the pedal into a treble boost, expanding its versatility. The pedal also includes a relay-based intelligent true bypass (RITB) with a momentary function, allowing users to activate or deactivate the pedal with varying press durations. This feature is particularly beneficial for those using loop switchers, providing further customization. Each unit comes with five rubber rings for potentiometers to enhance usability.
