Rat Bass

The Comodoro RAT BASS is a distortion pedal tailored for electric bass, inspired by the ProCo Rat design. It enhances low-frequency gain, making it suitable for both bass and guitar applications. Musically, the pedal delivers a rich, full-bodied distortion while maintaining definition in the original signal. This dual character allows players to achieve a rounded sound with depth and clarity. The inclusion of a BLEND potentiometer enables users to mix the original and distorted signals effectively. A JFET OpAmp buffers the original signal to prevent losses during this mixing process, ensuring a balanced output.
