PlexiTone Single

The Carl Martin PlexiTone is a single-channel overdrive pedal developed in collaboration with Pete Thorn. It features a compact design suitable for pedalboards, equipped with three knobs and one switch. This version retains the gain structure of the original Pro-Series PlexiTone's High Gain setting, while offering a tighter low end and softer high frequencies to enhance compatibility with various amplifiers. Additionally, the PlexiTone utilizes advanced DC-DC converter circuitry, allowing it to be powered by a standard 9V power supply while operating at the same ±12V level as its AC-powered predecessor. This design maintains high-quality components to ensure the tone and headroom characteristic of the CM Pro-Series.
