The Arkham Sound Oracle V1 is a compact, single-channel vacuum tube pre-amplifier, drawing inspiration from the legendary Portaflex Bass amplifiers of the 1960s. It is equipped with a 12AX7 tube, chosen for its low noise and excellent tonal characteristics, and operates on a 300VDC power supply. This preamp offers a buffered 1/4" output, delivering sufficient gain to connect seamlessly to a modern power amplifier or the line input of a recording interface.
Featuring a pedal-sized design, the Oracle incorporates the complete Arkham EQ, enabling extensive adjustments with minimal interference. It includes dual Lo-Z outputs: Out 1 for standard applications (such as power amps or interfaces) and Out 2 for added functionality with a DI box. Control options consist of Gain, Treble, and Bass.
