The audio path features a Burr Brown op amp, ensuring exceptional audio quality and minimal noise. The compression mechanism utilizes a vactrol—an optical component that delivers musical compression that's easy to adjust.
Additionally, the Omnicomp's side chain includes a gentle high pass filter that becomes progressively steeper for lower frequencies. This is designed to prevent bass-heavy instruments from excessively triggering the compression.
