This design deviates from traditional methods by referencing voltage instead of grounding, resulting in distinct tonal characteristics. Musically, the OCD produces a well-defined sound with a tube-like feel, offering a wider dynamic range, enhanced sustain, and focused single-note clarity. This Custom Shop version includes two Germanium diodes for added tonal complexity and comes in an eye-catching Metallic Teal finish that shifts between blues and greens.
