The EBS MultiDrive SE is an overdrive pedal designed specifically for electric bass, featuring analog circuitry and three distinct modes. In standard mode, it provides a sustain-enhancing overdrive that maintains the integrity of low frequencies, resulting in a powerful tone due to its high-pass filter.
In "Tubesim" mode, the MultiDrive SE offers harmonic distortion with a tube-like character, introducing warm compression and rich overtones. The "Flat" mode allows the entire frequency spectrum to engage with the gain stage. You can adjust the amount of distortion using the Drive control, while the Volume knob manages the overall output level.
