The Tone City Model M V2 is a distortion and amp-in-a-box pedal, building on the legacy of the Tone City Golden Plexi. It delivers classic British Plexi-style tones with two selectable distortion channels and a versatile boost section. In Crunch mode, the pedal offers '60s and '70s rock tones, ranging from light overdrive to saturated crunch. The High Gain mode provides a strong mid-range response with substantial gain, suitable for everything from classic rock to heavier styles. The boost section enhances your sound, allowing for increased volume and clarity in lead tones. Each distortion channel features its own gain control, while a master Tone control shapes the overall EQ. The V2 version enhances gain range, improves the signal-to-noise ratio, and allows the boost to operate independently or alongside the distortion.
