The Love Philter is a versatile filter pedal designed to replicate the functionality of CV in/out pedals while offering extensive controls for creative exploration. It features three modules: a resonant filter, an envelope generator, and an LFO.
The filter can operate as either a low pass or high pass, utilizing a filter chip reminiscent of those found in 80s Oberheim synths. This results in a rich sound with minimal bass loss and the ability to achieve auto-oscillation, producing anything from smooth sine waves to gritty square waves. The envelope module provides full control over attack, release, and polarity, while the LFO offers eight waveform options and adjustable frequency settings, including tap tempo.
Additionally, the Love Philter includes nine CV in/out connections and an expression pedal input, enabling comprehensive modulation control across all parameters, expanding its use beyond traditional filtering effects.
