Lo-Fi Loop Junky

The ZVEX Lo-Fi Loop Junky is an all-analog looper and effects pedal that specializes in phrase sampling with a 20-second recording capacity. Unlike digital loopers, this pedal intentionally reduces the signal quality, incorporating low fidelity characteristics such as a brick-wall low-pass filter cutting off at 2.6 kHz, along with hiss and distortion. The resulting loops evoke the sound of a damaged cassette tape or an old, warped vinyl record. In addition to its looper functionality, the Lo-Fi Loop Junky is equipped with a transparent, high-impedance preamp that preserves the direct guitar signal. It also includes built-in vibrato effects, allowing for further tonal shaping with Speed and Depth controls.
