The Zoom LiveTrak L6max is a versatile 12-channel mixer and standalone multi-track recorder, suitable for live performances, rehearsals, podcasting, and studio applications. It features four combo inputs, including two Hi-Z inputs for instruments, alongside eight line inputs and dual headphone outputs with a customizable Sub-Out mix. Channels 5–8 are equipped with pads to manage loud sound sources. Musically, the L6max allows for 14-track recording directly onto SD cards (up to 2 TB) with unlimited overdubbing capabilities.
