Disengaging the DIP switch results in a louder, more aggressive distortion that may introduce unexpected tonal qualities. The gain control allows for fine-tuning, accommodating low-output pickups and encouraging experimentation with different gain levels.
This pedal operates with true bypass and requires a 9VDC power supply. For optimal performance, using an isolated power supply is recommended.
