The Electronic Audio Experiments Hypersleep is a solid-state analog reverb pedal designed to create immediate acoustic reflections. It delivers a gritty timbre with a ringing, fluttering decay, focusing on subtle atmospheric qualities rather than expansive soundscapes. Central to the Hypersleep is the MN3011 bucket brigade device, which features staggered delay outputs for a smeared echo effect. This design allows for intricate reverberant textures by feeding the echo back into itself. Additionally, the onboard LFO modulates the reverb length, enabling unique chorus and vibrato sounds or the sensation of a room adjusting in size. The pedal is compatible with both instrument and line-level signals, ensuring versatile performance.
