The Honey Bee emulates the sound and response of classic vintage combo amps featuring well-loved tubes and speakers. Our latest standard version offers an expanded Drive range and enhanced flexibility with the Treble control, allowing you to dial in everything from a delightful 'Honey Boost' at lower drive settings to a more aggressive sound when pushed to the max.
The Drive knob adjusts the complexity and saturation of the distortion. The Nature control influences the EQ, starting at a neutral position of “noon.” Turning it clockwise subtly enhances the higher frequencies, reaching maximum treble when fully turned. Conversely, rotating it counterclockwise from noon introduces more low-end, dynamically interacting with the Drive knob to modify the distortion saturation. At the full counterclockwise position, the Honey Bee delivers a rich, saturated tone reminiscent of a small combo amp at its peak performance. The Volume knob manages overall loudness without altering the distortion character.
