It features true bypass and a rotary switch to select from four op-amp chips: NOS LM308, UD1408 (a Soviet LM308 clone), TLC2272, and NOS 741, allowing for a range of tonal options. Musically, the Heavy Bat delivers rich distortion tones that can be tailored to suit various styles. The EQ section includes a classic Rat filter tone control and a three-band EQ similar to the Boss HM-2, providing flexibility in shaping your sound. Additionally, the pedal offers clean blend controls and eight clipping diode options, two of which can be engaged via footswitch for added versatility.
