Gurgle & Moan

The Gurgle and Moan is an envelope filter effect pedal designed to create dynamic and expressive sounds. As a prototype, it features unique characteristics, such as a tendency to oscillate when the resonance knob is fully turned, along with a subtle "gurgle" in the background, stemming from control voltage crosstalk. These traits may appeal to some users, though they may not suit everyone's preferences. The pedal offers a range of controls for tonal shaping: the Shape knob adjusts the filter's character between band pass and low pass, while the Resonance knob emphasizes the cutoff frequency, potentially leading to oscillation at higher settings. The Depth knob influences how your playing dynamics affect the filter, and the Frequency knob sets the cutoff frequency itself. This prototype lacks artwork and labeling on the face, but a sticker on the back provides knob explanations. It can be powered by a 9V battery or a standard barrel plug adapter, and features true bypass and a durable powder-coated finish.
