The Go Rocky Go is a stompbox that emulates the legendary Vox Conqueror amplifier preamp, particularly the “Brilliant” channel, which gained popularity in late ’60s recordings. It captures vintage tones akin to those found on classic albums like The Beatles' The White Album and Magical Mystery Tour. This pedal accurately replicates the Conqueror’s distortion and mid-range boost (M.R.B.) circuit, while incorporating modern upgrades for enhanced versatility and reliability during performances. Key features include an upgraded distortion circuit with separate volume control, a new “Crunch Mode” for gentle overdrive, and a multi-switch foot-controller that allows you to switch between Bypass (clean), Distortion, M.R.B., and Crunch Mode with just two footswitches. It accommodates a broad voltage range of 9–18 V, providing increased headroom, higher output, and extended sustain when using higher voltage. The casing showcases artwork inspired by the legendary “Rocky” Stratocaster, and the switching mechanism is designed for ultra-silent operation, ensuring a clean experience on your pedalboard.
