Glaive

The Electronic Audio Experiments Glaive is a versatile op amp fuzz pedal designed for high-gain applications. With over +80dB of gain, it produces a range of tones from tight, aggressive distortion to rich, bass-heavy textures. Musically, the Glaive offers dynamic and articulate distortion with a metallic edge. Its Texture control incorporates a full-wave rectified analog signal, introducing an octave-up effect that enhances the fuzz sound. The LPF toggle allows for precise control over harsh overtones, while the new Squelch toggle introduces a bias gate to manage high gain levels and add a gritty character to the note decay. This pedal is powered by a robust 24V internal power supply and features a quiet buffered bypass with both momentary and latching modes.
