Geranium Germanium Drive

The Geranium Germanium Drive from Flower Pedals is a versatile overdrive pedal that can transition from medium drive to full fuzz. Its unique design incorporates a single NOS germanium transistor alongside op amps, delivering rich tonal colors characteristic of germanium. Musically, the Geranium offers a wide range of drive characteristics, from light overdrive to heavier fuzz, and can be enhanced further with an external boost. The pedal features noiseless relay switching and five controls: Level, Scoop, Drive, Bias, and Bright. The Scoop control allows for mid-frequency adjustments, while the Bias switch provides two distinct voicings for the germanium stage. The Bright switch helps reintroduce high frequencies, making it suitable for various musical styles.
