Forbidden Fuzz

After noticing that some customers were purchasing a second Expandora exclusively for its Fuzz mode, we were inspired to create a dedicated Fuzz pedal to meet that demand. However, during the development of a new Fuzz circuit, we ended up crafting something far greater—a powerful Fuzz machine with exceptional tone-shaping features! When both toggle switches are positioned to the left, you’ll start with the Fuzz tone reminiscent of the Expandora Vintage Reissue. Crank up the Fuzz and Voltz knobs, and you’ll unleash that iconic, glitchy Expandora Fuzz. Lower the Voltz knob, and you’ll introduce a variable sweep of stability to the Fuzz. Turn the Voltz all the way left, and you’ll achieve a beautifully singing, sustaining fuzz that’s irresistible! Flip the Tone switch to the right to activate the Level and Tone knobs. This engages the Tone stack and adds an extra Gain stage. Now, the Level and Fuzz knobs work in tandem, giving you full control over the quantity and character of the Fuzz. The Tone control is highly interactive, offering a wide array of incredible and practical sounds across its entire range.
