Product Description
The Flancher FL9 and FL7 are analog, voltage-controlled pedals designed to deliver stereo pitch modulation effects such as chorus, flanger, vibrato, and quasi-ring modulation. Both models utilize BBD (bucket brigade device) chips operating at 15V, reminiscent of late '70s studio rack units.
The FL9 features a 256-stage BBD, offering a delay range from 0.4ms to 9ms, ideal for achieving sharp flanger effects. In contrast, the FL7 uses a 1024-stage BBD, providing a broader delay range from 1.5ms to 34ms for a smoother, more natural chorus sound, though with more filtering. These distinct characteristics allow each pedal to excel in different modulation applications.
