The Flancher FL5B and FL5D are stereo, analog effects pedals that utilize voltage-controlled BBD (bucket brigade device) technology. Operating at 15V, they deliver a sound reminiscent of classic late '70s chorus and delay units, providing rich, textured modulation.
The FL5B offers a clean delay range from 12ms to 470ms, with a maximum clean time of 280ms. In contrast, the FL5D has a slightly longer range from 16ms to 630ms, achieving a maximum clean time of 350ms. The FL5D is characterized by a more lo-fi sound, featuring a filtered tone with pronounced low-end and feedback that can easily distort, starting to clip at 1V peak-to-peak compared to the FL5B's 2V.
